Key roles for using the C4C service and associated descriptions for reference

Hiring Manager | Business | Individual within Shell business that is responsible in directly engaging and managing the contractors. The hiring manager is responsible for providing the necessary fit-for-purpose IT resources to the contractor. |
Contract Holder | Business | Shell person with authority to appoint contracting companies and individuals on behalf of shell business. Normally it is the Shell contract manager from Contract & Procurement team that negotiates and signs the contract between Shell and the contracting company. He or she will be the contract holder for the signed contract. |
Contract Administrator | Business | Shell person with authority to appoint contracting companies and individuals on behalf of shell business. Normally it is the Shell contract manager from Contract & Procurement team that negotiates and signs the contract between Shell and the contracting company. He or she will be the contract holder for the signed contract. |
Third Party Access (TPA) FP | Business | Third-Party Access (TPA) Focal Point is responsible for reviewing and approving requests for 3rd party access services that submitted via OneRM. TPA Administrator | Business | TPA Admin is assisting the TPA FP in raising the 1RM or MY Request bundle for third part company registrations, deletions or modifications. |
IRM FP | Business | Shell IRM (Information Risk Management) is responsible for ensuring that security aspects in a contract are adhered to by reviewing the relevant documents from the contracting company. Eg. Confidentiality, Privacy, Export Controls, Software licensing, Competition Law etc.

Application Owner | Business | Person or Group that is responsible for an application in Shell. Responsibilities cover the application is ever-green, supportable and license compliance.

Business Application Tester | Business | Application tester is appointed by the respective business to perform testing and arrange the application support with the application owner. The application tester has to register the new application Resource Group via 1RM or My Request (EP) tool. The functional mailboxes for the businesses are: Business - Functional Mailbox

GI-D Access Focal Point | Business | Responsible for reviewing the user request against the 1RM/My Request form and fulfill/approve requests such as C4C accounts and C4C application resource registration. The GI Access FP will provision the task via DRA tool.
Standard Responsibility of GI Access FP : http://sww-ask-gi.shell.com/operational_info/fprc/task/access.htm EP (UI, UA and P&T) business: EPRD (EP Request Desk) is performing the GI-D Access FP role that manages UI, UA and P&T user’s requests. Request raised via My Request tool will be fulfilled by EP Request Desk (UI-UA-PT-My-Request-Owner@shell.com). GF and DS businesses: GI Access Focal Point roles have been out sourced to the HP OSS(Onsite Support Service) team. OSS will fulfill the request using DRA or raise the 1RM request so that Global Access Management (GI-D-Access-Management-Global@shell.com) can fulfill the request. There are also Access focal points that employed directly by the businesses. For these, DS and GF users will be using IT web-form to raise their request. |
Global Access Management | Service Provider | The central Access Management team is responsible for the fulfillment of access within Shell network or resource related requests that rose by various Shell businesses like DS & GF via 1RM. For EP (UI, UA and P&T) business, all the requests will be raised to EPRD via My Request. The functional mailbox is: GI-D-Access-Management-Global@shell.com & SITI-C4C-Request-Management@shell.com |
EP Request Desk (EPRD) | Service Provider | EP Request Desk is a dedicated team that manages and fulfills all the requests that raised by UI, UA and P&T users via My Request tool The functional mailbox is: UI-UA-PT-My-Request-Owner@shell.com |
Directory Desk | Service Provider | Directory Desk is part of the Global Request Management team that performs the fulfillment of company registrations, modifications and deletions requests. Directory Desk is also performing Bulk request, eg. C4C accounts bulk modification, Company attributes bulk modification and Resource Group Modifications.

Logistic | Service Provider | Logistic is part of the Global Request Management team that perform the courier of Vasco token, & smartcards etc. Functional mailbox for Logistic is: SALogistics@shell.com |
Contractor | Contracting Company | Third party contracting company staff that subscribes to C4C service. |
Contractor C4C FP | Contracting Company | The 3rd party contracting company staff that has been appointed by the company to coordinate and manage their internal C4C users accounts and application resources. This includes IT support related matter. |
C4C Access Portal | Internet Portal | The internet access portal for C4C users. http://connect.shell.com |
Shell C4C helpdesk | Service Provider | Dedicated C4C Service Desk that managing all incoming calls related to C4C service: SITI-Global-C4C-Support@hp.com |
Contracting Company | 3rd Party Company | A third party company that has entered into an agreement with Shell business in doing various business transactions. |
Component Service Manager | ITS Org | The service manager from ITS organization that managing the specific portfolio or service. |
Business C4C FP | Business | Appointed by Shell business to assist the business in managing and migrating the contractors to C4C service. Eg. PMs, Business IT support. |
